Lara Orhon is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist with Turkish-American roots. She is a graduate of the New York Film Academy (BFA in Filmmaking). She is also an alumna of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting New York and has completed a theatre conservatory program in Istanbul.

Lara’s work as a director reflects her theater roots and interest in the many ways stories can reveal the human experience.

In addition to directing and producing, she also works across production design, wardrobe & styling, makeup, and FX makeup. Films she has been part of have screened at festivals in the U.S. and internationally.
